Stephen Covey is the author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. An exceptional video review of his empowering book is here on YouTube.
In a nutshell, Covey reveals the differences between Reactive People and Proactive People in the following ways:
Reactive People: focus on the things that they cannot control. They find fault, complain, and place blame on others because to this type of personality it seems impossible that something could exist that they would not know about or understand.
Proactive People: realize that complaining doesn’t help. People with this type of personality choose to focus on what they CAN control – how can I improve myself, my product, my service, my situation?
